Automatic accident detection with the data to respond

Every Flext tracker includes accident detection and monitoring. When a tracker detects a possible accident, incident “blackbox” data is sent immediately to Flext for review, and configured responders can be notified by text message, email, or phone call.

Replace operating blind spots with a shared record.

  • An accident can go unnoticed until a driver or bystander is able to call.

  • The first alert may not reach every person responsible for coordinating a response.

  • After-hours escalation depends on manual calls and outdated contact lists.

A serious event needs more than a notification.

After an accident, uncertainty can slow the response. Your team needs to know that something may have happened, which vehicle is involved, and who is responsible for following up.

When a possible accident is detected, Fleet sends the incident data for review and can start the configured notification chain without relying on the driver to place the first call.

What Fleet brings into view

01

Automatic accident detection

Included with every Flext tracker, accident monitoring detects supported impact events without waiting for a driver to place a call.

02

Immediate blackbox data

The tracker immediately sends the incident record to Flext so the available blackbox data can be reviewed.

03

Configured responder alerts

Route an alert to configured responders through text message, email, phone call, or the selected combination.

Use the same context from question to action.

  • Alerting configured safety and operations contacts
  • Escalating possible accidents after hours
  • Keeping incident context available for follow-up
