Automatic accident detection
Included with every Flext tracker, accident monitoring detects supported impact events without waiting for a driver to place a call.
Every Flext tracker includes accident detection and monitoring. When a tracker detects a possible accident, incident “blackbox” data is sent immediately to Flext for review, and configured responders can be notified by text message, email, or phone call.

An accident can go unnoticed until a driver or bystander is able to call.
The first alert may not reach every person responsible for coordinating a response.
After-hours escalation depends on manual calls and outdated contact lists.
After an accident, uncertainty can slow the response. Your team needs to know that something may have happened, which vehicle is involved, and who is responsible for following up.
When a possible accident is detected, Fleet sends the incident data for review and can start the configured notification chain without relying on the driver to place the first call.

The tracker immediately sends the incident record to Flext so the available blackbox data can be reviewed.
